The captions to some of my figures keep duplicating every time I update the list of figures (not the image itself, just the caption). Each duplicate is exactly identical and the figure number doesn't increase (i.e., there will be four "Figure 3.18" captions, not "Figure 3.18-3.21"). I've tried manually deleting the duplicates from both the figure itself and the list of figures, but any time I update the field, they either reappear in the same figure or captions that weren't duplicating before will start duplicating.



Any help would be appreciated.
