sometimes those errors indicate a corrupt normal.dotx template.
In Windows Explorer, do a search for Normal.dot. You might need to tweak you settings to display hidden files. Once you've found normal.dotx, either delete it or rename it. Then restart Word. When Word can't find the normal template, it will automatically create a new one. See if that clears it up. |
