I'm trying to figure out to add the word Chapter to heading 1 style automatically

Example:

Instead of a number, it would look like
Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.
?

Any thoughts

'Chapter n' is one of the predefined numbering styles which you can add to the style. Format Style > Numbering

I don't see such an option anywhere.

The available options depend on which version of Word you are using. At least in Word for Windows, you can click Home > Multilevel List to locate one of the predefined multilevel list formats. The alternative, which is often safer, is to set up numbering from the start as discussed in Shauna Kelly's article at How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in Word 2007 and Word 2010 | ShaunaKelly.com.

Go to format style in Word and in that select numbering.
Your chapters would be numbered as Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3... Chapter n.
