Charles Kenyon, I appreciate your help. I'm not sure how I posted on different threads, sorry. When I look at the example I tried to show, the space is at the end of the line, but in reality it is at the start of the line. I'm home now, so I don't have access to the document, but I'm not sure how it would be a header issue. As I recall, the only thing in the header is the page number. I will check on that on Monday. As I said, the indent appears on line 18 of the page. Thanks for helping and I will certainly check the header and footer on Monday. If all else fails, I will simply retype the entire 8 page letter. *sigh*
