What are the best books to learn all the details on Word?


Is there one book that encompasses most of the versions of Word?



Is it even possible to do it in one book? What do you suggest I consider?

It is not possible in one book. It is really not possible to cover a single version in one book; it would be more like a bookshelf full of books.

One of my favorites is Word 2010 Bible by Herb Tyson. I think the writing and analysis are superior to anything written later. There has not been a lot added to Word since that was written, but has been some.


You can find a lot on the web. Start with the basics: Basic Concepts of Microsoft Word - from Shauna Kelly.

I think my UsersGuide site covers Windows versions of Word from 2002 to the present. It does not cover everything. It started out as a book "The Legal Users' Guide to Microsoft Word." You could take that and print it out but that does not cover anything since 2002.
