Hide ActiveXcontrol when Printing
Hi,
I have a checkbox which hides/Unhides a bookmark when clicked. The bookmark is a paragraph in a document. When I print the document the checkbox is still visible. Is there a way in Microsoft Word 2016 to stop the checkbox from appearing while printing the document or converting it to pdf. Thanks!

You would need to hijack the Print and SaveAs functions to hide the checkbox and then reveal it after the print/saveas.
Wouldn't it be easier to get rid of the activeX checkbox and put the macro to show or hide the bookmark into the Ribbon or QAT instead?
