I haven't any text after the table. The last row of the table is the final line of the page. However, I've got that row to stay on the page now, along with the first line of the footnote. Before when I was testing it out, I got two lines of the footnote onto that page. Now for some reason only one line of the footnote is fitting there. But that is better than nothing, at least the footnote is on the page. I wish MS Word would have an overt technique for doing this, but we've got it working. Thank you for the tip!
