Paragraph between last footnote and footer, how to remove it?

If you see a "blank" footnote (or endnote), from which you have deleted both the text and the number, the easiest way to delete it would be to delete the corresponding footnote (endnote) marker in the main body of the document.

If you can't get it sorted, consider uploading your document, or a representative sample.
