I'm afraid not.
My first word processor was Word Perfect and I've never really gotten comfortable with MS Word, partly because I don't use it very much, except when I need to write business letters. Quote:
What is the shortcut or activation command for causes a comment to be created, because all I've done in the document is type and make revisions? |

The default shortcut for inserting a comment in Word is Ctrl+Alt+M.
There is also a shortcut for activating/deactivating tracked changes: Ctrl+Shift+E.
