I'm not sure I understand your problem, but here's an all purpose answer. If MS Word is adding code and elements to your text when you are trying to just copy and paste text, do this. Open Notepad (found in the programs Accessories folder). Paste into Notepad first. This will remove everything but the text. Copy from Notepad. Paste into Photoshop or whatever. All that will paste is text (no formatting, no images, etc.).
