Hi, kindly advice me on how I could remove the first digit number 6. in the paragraph numbering of the attached document so that the amended numbering should be:
From--------------To 6.1----------------1 6.1.1--------------1.1 6.1.1.1------------1.1.1 and so on 6.2----------------2 6.2.1--------------2.1 and so on This seems very elementary but please bear with me. In a genealogy book, there were six children (1st generation) called Roots numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The descendants of root number 6 were given a sequential numbering of 6.1, 6.2... Each root would now want to create a separate book of their own so the numbering should be altered by removing the first digit. I hope I am making sense. Thank you. |
