If the two figure captions are in the same paragraph, they will also display in the same paragraph in the list of figures. To fix this, you will have to separate the two paragraphs. You can make use of a style separator, if you wish. That will make it possible to have the two figure captions display in the same paragraph in the body of the document.
The screen shot belows illustrates how you can do it. Note that inserting the style separator with Ctrl+Alt+Enter will put it at the end of the paragraph. You can move the caption manually.
