Track Formatting Ad Nauseum
There are many posts describing how to cause Word 2013 to STOP tracking Formatting changes. I've tried all that I can find including creating an AutoOpen() macro. Nothing sticks between closing and opening Word. Editing the normal.dotm file doesn't work. There must be a way that works. Please help.

Opening the Normal template and accepting changes as well as turning off the tracking will prevent future documents based on that template from tracking changes. Existing documents won't be affected; if they are set to track changes, you have to deal with them one by one.
