font in style definition trashed

I have a style that uses Adobe Caslon Pro (present on the PC) as its font. Suddenly, this displays as something more like Arial, and very widely spaced. When I try to check and correct the style definition:

• the preview in the Modify Style dialog is correct
• Word shows a mysterious warning "the number must be between 1 and 600."

What's going on, and how do I get my style back? Thanks in advance.

Hi eNGiNe,

At a guess, I'd say the Style definition is corrupt. You might need to delete and re-create it. If you delete the Style, everything using it will revert to 'Normal'. However, if you create the new Style first (with a different name), you can use Find/Replace to change all content in the current Style to the new one. Then you can delete the old Style safely.
