Hi –
I’m trying to automatically fill in fields in Word. I write tenancy agreements and have to continually type in the tenant’s names, property address etc several times into the same document. I would like to open a template and for Word to ask me for the property address, tenant’s name etc at the start and for Word to automatically fill in the fields. How do I do this? Many thanks |

I am having the same exact issue and would like to be included in the response if you get one. The only difference is that we use XP, not Vista.
Thanks! |

You can use the fields from Quick Parts – Document Property to insert them anywhere in the document.
After that’s done you can type in the Document Properties panel and all the fields that you inserted will be automatically filled in. If you need more details just ask. |
