Default I edited my text and deleted it. Help, please

I'm just a poor, miserable idiot.
I had just finished writing a chapter of a book and then I was sure that I had properly saved it. Then, only for my stupidity, I deleted the text, changed the name of the chapter and saved it, thinking that it was ready for writing a new chapter. But this way I deleted my former chapter already saved.
I'm so upset, that I'm even unable to make myself understood properly. I think there is no way to get my work back.
This is my last hope.
