Have you used Word 2007 before?

Why are you getting such old (and not very good) software?

IMO, the best two versions of Word for ordinary use are likely Word 2003 and Word 2010. The later versions have some nice features but also have some drawbacks. Word 2003 is long out of support. Word 2010 will be out of support before long. The current version is Word 2019. The monthly license version is part of Office 365 which requires regular Internet connection and monthly or annual payments.

I often buy used and rebuilt computers. Nothing wrong with doing that if it meets your needs. Just be careful of your supplier.
