![]() I am using MS Word for Mac on an iMac, with the new Mojave (OS 10.14.1). My documents all seem to have been changed to A4 Borderless page size, and Word will not allow me to change this size. I have reset the printing system, so I do not think it is a printer problem (using Canon MG5750). Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 11-12-2018 at 05:09 PM. Reason: Change title to give more accurate information about problem. Mark as solved. |

Borderless is the natural state for Word pages, although most printers have some unprintable areas.
What are you doing to try to change the page size? When you are in the print dialog, do you have a box checked to scale the page? |

I am using the 'Layout' menu, choosing 'Size'. A4 Borderless is greyed, and even if I click on A4 (or indeed anything else) it doesn't change.
I am not checking a box to scale in the print dialog. Documents print as expected, so the query is related to the 'View' in Word, and the Page Size function. This borderless view is new to me - it's is not something I have ever seen before, and the view with no margin shown at the top is confusing. Even if Borderless is the natural state, surely it should allow me to change it? |

I suspect what you are talking about is seeing the top and bottom header/footer area.

yes, you're correct - the elusive white space it is!
But why did this suddenly occur, because I didn't change that View option? |

Stray mouse clicks can change it. See the page.
