Dear mr Paul
Thanks for your prompt reply. I tried to remove the back ground colour but failed. I opened the file containg the copied pages. Selected the text and followed the steps suggested by you. This step could not remove the background colour. This is how I copied the text from website: Opened and selected texts from website Selected them Dragging Right clicked and selected "copy" Pasted in the file control V. Please suggest how to remove back found colour. Thanks Ms msnarayanan |

For text that you have already brought into a Word document, try selecting it and pressing Ctrl+SpaceBar (to remove font formatting which is not part of the underlying style). Also, press Ctrl+Q (which will remove paragraph formatting that is not part of the underlying style).
