Hi all,
Hope you can help with this one. I am writing a thesis and require 2 table of contents, 1 after the other. The first just needs to include the chapter titles which are formatted as heading 1 (from styles) with the page number. e.g. Chapter 1 ...... pg 1 Chapter 2........pg 50 etc The second TOC then needs to be more detailed and include the sub-headings within each chapter: e.g. Chapter 1....pg 1 Subchapter 1.....pg 2 Subchapter 2.....pg 3 Chapter 2.....pg 50 Subchapter 1.....pg 51 etc When I do this, it seems that the first TOC also references the second TOC for some reason. Is there a way my first TOC can 'ignore' the second TOC so it doesn't reference it. Hope you can help! Tom |
