Line numbering

Somehow my standard line numbering changed to include " 1. 1; 1. 2; 1. x" How do i get rid of the "1."?

Select the text with your numbering.
Right mouse click.
Hover over item "Numbering".
New menu will unfold.
Pick the style you wish to have and click on it.
