Default Split sentence at bold word

I'm converting a PDF into Word and one area that converts wrong is an area of Acronyms followed by their definitions.

An example:
IAW—In-accordance with
BTW—By the way
MPG—Mile per gallon PSI—Pound per Square Inch

UPS—Universal Parcel Service DFW—Dallas-Fort Worth
GOP—Grand old Party

In the example, you can see the first two acronyms came out right, but the third/fourth lines are two acronyms in one line.

Results needed:
IAW—In-accordance with
BTW—By the way
MPG—Mile per gallon
PSI—Pound per Square Inch
UPS—Universal Parcel Service
DFW—Dallas-Fort Worth
GOP—Grand old Party

Can the line be separated at the bolded acronym?

It's not apparent from your example that one needs to test the bold attribute. Provided the acronyms consist of two or more capitals, a wildcard Find/Replace should suffice, where:
Find = [ ^s^t](<[A-Z]{2,})
Replace = ^p\1
