![]() I have two computers with MS Office and Word. I made a book manuscript of over 400 pages complete with margins. I copied the document to a flash drive and transferred it to my other computer. I do this because it is a safety feature. I once lost a manuscript it took years to write because a computer crashed. Anyway, I transferred it to the other computer and my document has no margins and page numbers. It wasn't always like this. I started happening the other day. Any suggestions to get them back? See Elusive White Space by Suzanne Barnhill.
This is not about margins or page numbers. It is about display of them. [Edit: This is an example of certainty not being the same as correctness! See next post. CK] Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 06-30-2018 at 08:57 PM. |

Glad you got it figured out.
That will (again) teach me about the problem with assumptions. |
