LOL, no it didn't help. sorry Is the following correct?: Page 1 should look like 1.01. Page 2 should look like 1.02. Page 3 should look like 1.03. Eventually chapter 1 will end, so the numbering will change like this: Page 1 of chapter 2 should look like 2.01. Page 2 of chapter 2 should look like 2.02. What is numbered in the "detail"? Headings? Paragraphs? and how is this relevent to page numbering?... Or are you really wanting paragraph numbers to display in the footer,and not page numbers at all?
