Default Navigation Bullets - Not Aligned

Good Day All,

This is probably straightforward, but I have searched and cannot find an answer to this.

I am creating a document with many headings, sub-headings (4 layers) and bullet/number points. Within my main document the number bullets are vertically aligned, however, within the Navigation Pane, sporadically throughout the document, lists items are not aligned (vertically) and nothing I seem to do will align them. It is driving me crazy.

See the attached image 1 and 2.

Also, once I've finished drafting the document, is there an easy way to make sure all of the secondary/tertiary level margins are consistent. For some reason they are all over the place as well, and I really do not want to go through each individually and manually move the margins.

Attached image 3.

Thanks all, I appreciate your time :-)

Daniel
