Hi everyone. New member here about to bash his head into his computer monitor lol.
I am using MS Office Word 2016 (not the cloud version) on Windows 10 on a 64-bit system. I am using the docx file format. I created a style "Header 1" with custom font color (RGB) 7, 87, 91. While the document is open, the application of this style works just fine. If I close and then open the file, the color changes to something else lighter (please see attached screenshot). If I check the style, the color option is the correct color but what it shows is a lighter version of the color. I then need to apply a font color change to each individual instance of Header 1 to get back the color I need. I have tried starting over with defining the styles, removing all removable unused styles but still get this same error when I re-open the file. Any help would be so appreciated on this mind-numbing error. ![]() |
