Thanks! Those look like neat tools to add the controls. I still don't understand how to reference the value in the control. Bear with me...this is a depth to Word that I haven't delved into in a looooong time.

Perhaps you would be so kind to look at my doc. The very first control on top, where one enters the employee name, I would like replicated. I gave it the tag "EmployeeName". Now what?

If you could just throw something in the header that would do it for me, I can take care of making it all pretty and perhaps can understand by looking at your example. Thanks in advance for humoring me.
