How can I get a different header/footer on the second page?
Numbering Front Matter (Ribbon) by Suzanne Barnhill, MVP Those are likely all you will need. For the nitty-gritty: Header/Footer Settings Recap Suzanne Barnhill has a template here: http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/tutorials.htm (Search for writers) You want to start your book and your chapters on odd-pages so you will want odd-page section breaks.
