Hello,
I have got a problem where I use Spell Checker, and when it finds an error, and offers suggestions, what to change the word with the error to, clicking on the suggestion will not actually correct the word in the text. Restarting the Spell Checker points out the same error, that is still there. On top of that the word with the error is not highlighted in the text, and I cannot jump to it, as I was able to before, I have to manually find the word in the text and manually correct it to what it suggests. |

I have not seen this. Which build of Word 2016?
See Mastering the Spelling Checker by Suzanne Barnhill, MVP. Even though the site shows 2013 as my version, I do have Word 2016. |

Note that Suzanne S. Barnhill's article (http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/MasterSpellCheck.htm) is similar to the one you found; however, Suzanne includes a more complete discussion.
