Default Assigned footer section numbers are all messed up

Hi All,



I can' really understand what happened here (see attachment)

The section jumps wildly from 28 to 75, messing up my page numbers. It does this jump in the middle of some endnotes.

I really would like to avoid deleting all the section breaks and restart from scratch, as we are talking about many chapters here...
