I have a Word document (which I can send to whomever but can't post in an open forum), that has 58 pages and 36 figures. After Figure 6, it restarts the next graphic at figure 2. I've tried exposing the field code but I'm not seeing anything wrong in it in comparison.
I updated my Word program (why it didn't auto load them as usual, I don't know), but that didn't fix it. I'm under deadline, so I'm hoping one of the experts is trolling and can help quickly. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 04-25-2018 at 12:27 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Just FYI, I tried modifying the field by right-clicking edit field, then Options, Field Specific Switches, and adding the /n (inserts the next sequence number), but it is making me do it for EACH figure caption thereafter. Obviously a corrupt code somewhere?
Hoping someone has a better answer so I don't have to do this with 30 figure captions! |

but you have to select all (CTRL + A) and hit F9 (entire table) for it to reset the numbers after that modification.
