Default Font substitution problem

Dear support,

Somehow my computer does not show an externally installed font in my Word2016 anymore. After a very very long search, I found that in my settings the 'Font Substitution' is causing this problem.
In my case it substitutes the Intro font with a default one.

When I change this setting everything works fine. But after saving and reopening, or starting a new document, I have to do this again.

Can I save this setting somewhere for every existing and new document?

What do you mean by 'externally installed font'?

Why are you not installing the font on your machine? That would solve your issue instead of having to rely on mapping to an alternative which looks nothing like it.

If you have the font installed correctly then it shouldn't appear in that font substitution table at all.

Is there a copy of it in your C:\Windows\Fonts folder?

Yes it is. Other programs work just fine with it. Its just Word that does this.
The text in my documents appear as the substitute font in all my documents. I assumed this was a setting in my Normal.dotm but I cant change it there.
