Hi all, I'm trying to help my sister finish her thesis and she needs to generate a table of figures. I can't figure out how to specify the caption as being only PART of the text shown below the images (formatting restrictions are strict when writing a thesis). For example, imagine the following: {Image here} Figure 1. Fishing stations of the Petit Nord. The arrow indicates the location of the EfAx-09 site. Source: Ed Eastaugh for An Aarchaeology of the Petit Nord. what I want is for the caption which will show up in the table to be: Figure 1. Fishing stations of the Petit Nord........................... 6 but right now it's pulling the entire text (some of the figure descriptions are 4-5 lines long and include URLs... all of that cannot be in the table... What should I do? How do i force the table to only pull the text i want? Thanks, Jay |
