![]() For some reason in the middle of a document I have a figure whose caption number should be 24, but it says Figure 1. I tried playing around selecting the existing wrong figure number and then inserting a SEQ field and somehow it did correct the figure, but basically as soon as I clicked out of there it updated back to 1. (And in any event trying to repeat this now is not working, so not too sure exactly how I got that temporarily fixed before.) Any suggestions to make sure the caption numbering continues instead of restarting at 1? Note this is the first figure after a section break (not the first one in the document) if that makes a difference. The next figure is after another section break, and its number is OK (it is 24!). |
