Default Roman page numbers on TOC

Hi:



I am using MS Office 365 on a Windows 10 laptop.

I had inserted one of the automatic TOC into my document. It displays page numbers has roman numeric. How can I change it to Arabic numbers? The page footesr show them as Arabic numbers.

The page numbers are shown in the format that the sections are configured to. Go to each section in the document and then Insert > Page Number > Format Page Numbers... > Number format to set to your preferred format.

The page numbers on the actual pages are a field which can optionally include a formatting option which overrides the section page formats.
