Custom auto incrementing integer prefixes on headers
I am trying to get auto incrementing integer prefixes on headers. The procedure with this article is not what I want. It is not a multilevel list I am after (my document will contains those of various formats). I just need headers to auto increment much like Sections in LateX.
Is such a format possible? Example: 1 Heading 1 lorem ipsum... 2 Heading 1 lorem ipsum... 2.1 Heading 2 lorem ipsum... 2.2 Heading 2 lorem ipsum... 2.2.1 Heading 3 lorem ipsum... 3 Heading 1 lorem ipsum...
