Hello everyone



As you may be aware, both Word 2007 and Word 2016 create "DOCX" files but the files created by them are not quite the same.

If I have Word 2016, but I want my documents to be saved in Word 2007 format, how can I accomplish that without installing Word 2007 as well?

I have a program on my computer that can read Word 2007 files but not Word 2016 files. So, if I receive DOCX files from other people who had used Word 2016 to save those files, and I only have Word 2016 myself, how can I convert those files to a DOCX format that a "Word 2007-only" program will accept?

Is there some conversion tool available?
