How to display tag in Content Control instead of title
How to display the Content control Tag text instead of the Title text in 'Design mode'. It is working correctly in 2010 but this behavior changed in Office 2016. Can anybody help me to overcome this issue?
I've also attached the screenshot of Office 2010 vs Office 2016 Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 03-02-2018 at 09:04 AM. Reason: crop image |

I can confirm that you are right. This is how Word acts. The change came in Word 2013. This is not something you can change. If you want the display the way it was in Word 2010, you have to use 2010 (or 2007).
I do not know, but suspect, that it was part of the major rewrite of Word for 2013. You can still see both, in or out of design mode, by getting properties. When posting images, please try to keep them a reasonable size on the screen while showing what is needed. How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum. Yes, it is annoying when Microsoft changes things. |
