Send To several backups on different disks at same time
Hi there. I wondered if anyone could suggest a simple way to send a Word file to several backups at the same time. At the present time (using Windows 7 64 bit and Word 2007) when I create or amend a Word document I am required to back it up to four drives - one on the same PC and three to external hard drives. This means finding the file then right click 'send to' four separate times which is of course time consuming during the working day. Many thanks in advance and may I wish you all a very Happy New Years. James

See: https://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm
There is a macro on that page for saving to two location; it could easily be adapted to save to more locations.

With regard to Paul's link to my web page, I would only add that you should treat external had drives as removable media for this purpose and use the option shown to Copy the file to the external hard drives.

To macropod and gmayor, many thanks for your prompt replies. I will attempt this when back to work after the holidays. Thanks again. James
