Hi, I got a not too complicated situation to solve:
I have a document that is divided into sections. In the header the page number should run (i.e. restart) from 1 in each section At the same time in the footer the page number should be a "global" page number, i.e. the actual page number of the document. Let me explain by an example if not clear: It should e.g. look so: TOP 1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1 BOTTOM 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 I don't want numbers to be entered one by one either in the header or the footer and I guess there should be an automatic solution. Thank you for any advice. I found this thread covering a similar problem but I don't know how to use SET fields as suggested there https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...-document.html |
