Computer Showing Wrong Page Numbering
Hi All, I have an issue with only my desktop and is a new development (issues started a week ago). If I open an existing word document (in word 2016) on my PC, it shows page 1 as page 5. this is across all documents. if I open the same document on my laptop or a colleague's computer it shows the correct page numbering. I have tried everything and have exhausted all the avenues that I am aware of. If someone could please help that would be greatly appreciated. cheers.

Aside from your Table of Contents displaying the wrong page #s, everything seems OK. Refreshing the Table of Contents will resolve that, too.

Shows up fine, here, too. The page numbers in the header are correct.
Might you be talking about what shows up in the Status bar? 00 deleteme 1.png Page 6 is the correct page number in the status bar while Page 2 is the correct formatted page number. What prints out for that page on your computer that is giving you the wrong page?

Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair)?
Have you tried running Word in safe mode (i.e. hold down the Ctrl key while starting Word)?

Exactly what are you printing? The 5th page in your document is numbered 1. Can you attach a copy of the PDF you say shows the problem?

This is what I'm getting. I did have to refresh the TOC which was starting at page 5.
