Sometimes additional formatting gets overlaid on a style, resulting in inconsistent behavior. If you select text and click twice on a style, ONLY the style formatting will remain. I selected HAMMER and reapplied the style, and it displayed correctly.
Another option is to open the Styles pane on the right--there is a Clear All option at the top that removes EVERYthing--it resets the selection to Normal (I think). Then you select the desired style. Hope this helps. |
