I'm an author and created some specific styles for my novel.
I just started a new story and the styles I created for the first one aren't in the styles list. How do I get them back? I saw another post that said to use Manager, I found that and clicked on the import/export... but my style is still not showing up. Thanks ![]() |

You could click on the tiny arrow below 'Change Styles' to open the dropdown list. If you don't see your Styles there, click on 'Options' and choose 'Select styles to show:All Styles' and, perhaps, change the sort order to alphabetical. You should then be able to find your Styles. When you do, you could move the mouse over it then click on it's dropdown and click on 'Add to Quick Style Gallery'.

The Organizer (under Manage styles) will show styles in two templates/documents. Open the dialog when in your new document. Close the Normal.dotm template in your organizer and open the document that contains your styles. Then copy them. |
