Hi guys, this is my first time I write in this forum.
Sorry for my English, as I am not a native. So I'll cut to the chase. I have a Word document where at some point the text wraps automatically creating a new page underneath while I am writing. I don't know how to solve all of this. Hope you understood my problem. Can you help me? Thanks |

Your English is far better than my competence in any other language.
Welcome. Word is supposed to create a new page when it gets to the end of one. See this article about "shrink to fit." |

Is the problem that it wraps too soon leaving a large blank spot at the bottom of the page?

I've checked the paragraph marks icon, but I don't think that's where the problem is. Quote:

Without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

What you are looking for is "Keep lines together" and "Keep with next." |

Thanks a lot Charles! I've found the solution.
So I will explain the process for those who will encounter the same problem: just do right-click at the start of the line where the text wraps. Then, from the pop up menu, choose Paragraph > Line and Page breaks. Here uncheck "Keep with next" button. Done!

You'd probably be better off applying that to the whole document (except, maybe, for headings); otherwise the problem is likely to keep raising its ugly head whenever you insert/delete content.
