Remember, your printer must use PCL for the commands to work. This is sort of doing an end-run around the printer driver.

Hello
I am having the same problem and hope that someone can help me. Just to be completely clear about what the problem is, I have made some helpful pictures! ![]() I have a 320 page thesis that has both portrait and landscape pages. This first image is a simplified example of how the document appears when I view it in Word. It also appears the same way when I save it to a pdf and view it in acrobat: Document layout.jpg This second image is how it appears when the pdf is printed. The landscape pages have been orientated the wrong way: Print orientation.jpg This third image shows how I would like the document to appear when it is printed: Desired layout.jpg Simply rotating the physical printed pages by hand once the document is finished printing is unfortunately not an option, as the document will be bound and printed by a third party. I need to send them a pdf containing my thesis by e-mail, and this pdf must print correctly. Any help in achieving this would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks, The Spith |
