Dear all,
Great to be here for asking a question. Could you please let me know how to have two separate word files, one with "Hindi" and another with "Context" settings, at the same time? In other words, how we can specifically set the "Numeral" settings for a given word file, so that setting just is applied on this word file, not any word file that is opened. p.s, I have word 2010 installed on windows 7 Thanks in advance Last edited by maryia; 07-27-2017 at 11:11 PM. |

It's not clear what you mean by numeral and context settings. I am guessing that you wish to apply Hindi language to one document and have the other, perhaps, in English, i.e., two different alphabets. I believe you need a separate keyboard for Hindi; whether you can use two keyboards with one computer simultaneously I don't know. If you are referring only to setting the proofing language for a document, that is a simpler matter.

Sorry if the question is not clear. As you know, we can choose Arabic, Hindi, Context, and System in the "Numeral" section of the word document (File>Options>Advanced). However, when I select one of them (say Hindi), this setting is applied on the every word file that is opened. My question is how I can have two word files with two different settings in the "Numeral" section, one with Hindi and another with Context?

Is there a way to "lock" the default quick-print settings in Office (Word/Excel)? | unittwentyfive | Office | 0 | 04-05-2014 07:56 PM |
