Line Spacing Issue for Word for Mac - Office 365 Subscription

Hi, everyone.

I am hoping someone here can soothe my OCD-riddled mind. I am having a weird spacing issue with my current document.

I copy and pasted some source material from one document into my current document and, ever since then, I have this strange spacing issue.

What's strange to me is when I backspace, I'm able to properly single space my lines per normal; however, the large line space drops further and further down--I cannot get rid of it.

Pics are attached as I am not sure how to even really describe this issue.



I am using Word for Mac, 2017 via Office 365 Subscription.
