When I am editing a Word file that is stored in OneDrive, the current state of the document doesn't get saved to the cloud until I close the document.
It is not enough to click the save button. It doesn't seem to matter if I open the doc from local storage, or from the cloud. So if I work on a document for two or three hours straight, that means no cloud backup and no versioning, unless I remember to close the doc a few times in the middle. I am talking about the desktop version of Office, not the online version. Any way around this problem? I tried the SaveInTwoPlaces add-on, but I couldn't get it to work in Word 2016. |
