Default Question regarding Restrict Editing feature

Hello all,

I'm trying to secure forms from editing and the restrict editing works fine so as long as the information fits in the blanks or table space. But if if the text entered has too many characters where the field in the table needs to expand to fit then I'm not able to adjust the table to make it look right.

So is there a way to get this resolved? Something like the characters only would auto-resize to fit in the field without the table being resized? Or some kind of setting where I can restrict editing parts of the form but it would also let me adjust the table format or format of the form.

Thanks!
