Check the setting for "automatically update styles from template". This is on the Document Template dialog found on the Developer Tab.



Printer drivers have a lot to do with page layout. Changing the driver (even if for the same printer) can change your layout.

What happens when I send my document to someone else? Will Word mess up my formatting?
